Withdrawal policy

Your money should be as easy to take out as it was to put in. This policy explains the withdrawal methods we support, the timing you can expect, the checks we perform and the honest reasons a withdrawal can be delayed or declined.

1. Introduction

This policy governs withdrawals from SabioTrade accounts. By requesting a withdrawal you accept the terms set out here, which exist to keep your funds secure and to meet the verification obligations described in our AML / KYC policy. The companion Deposit & withdrawal methods page carries the full tables of methods and processing times; this page explains the rules around them.

2. Available withdrawal methods

Withdrawals are available to PayPal (typically processed within 24 hours), to Visa and Mastercard cards issued in your name (one to five business days), and to your Australian bank account (one to three business days). The method you choose must be one you previously used for deposits where possible, which is a standard protection against funds being routed to someone else.

We do not support withdrawals to third-party accounts, to payment instruments in other people's names, or to methods that cannot be reconciled with your verified identity. If your deposit method cannot receive withdrawals for a technical reason, we will agree an alternative with you after re-verification, not before.

3. Processing times

After you request a withdrawal, we perform our internal checks and release the payment. Standard timing after release is: within 24 hours for PayPal, one to three business days for bank transfers, and one to five business days for cards. Factors that can extend these times include bank cut-off windows, weekends and Australian public holidays, additional verification, and the card issuer's own processing schedule.

"Business days" means Monday to Friday excluding public holidays, and the clock starts when the request is complete, not when it is first drafted.

4. Fees and charges

SabioTrade does not charge a fee for standard withdrawals through any supported method. Costs can arise from third parties, for example a currency conversion applied by your bank or card issuer, or network fees if you move digital assets to an external address; these are outside our control and are disclosed before you confirm where that is technically possible. The amount you see at confirmation is the amount we send.

5. Limits

There is no minimum withdrawal beyond the smallest amount a payment method can practically carry. Daily and monthly maximum limits apply and are shown in your profile next to the withdrawal form, because they can differ by tier and verification status. Requests above a limit are split automatically where the method allows it, or held until the next window where it does not.

You can withdraw your available balance at any time, including while positions are open: the figure available reflects what is not currently committed to open positions and pending settlement.

6. Verification checks

Every withdrawal is subject to account verification and transaction monitoring. A first withdrawal to a new method triggers a re-check of your identity details, and larger or unusual patterns can prompt a request for information about the source of funds. These checks are required by the anti-money-laundering framework we operate under, and they protect you as much as us: they are the reason a stolen password alone is not enough to empty an account.

7. Why a withdrawal can be delayed or declined

Delays and declines have specific causes: bank or payment details that do not match your verified identity; incomplete or expired verification; documents requested during monitoring that have not yet arrived; technical problems at a payment provider; and regulatory holds where we are legally required to pause a transaction. In each case we notify you with the reason and what is needed to proceed, unless the law restricts what we may say.

A decline is never silent. If a request cannot proceed at all, you receive a written explanation and, where funds are held, they remain in your account rather than disappearing into a fee.

8. Your responsibility for payment details

You are responsible for the accuracy of the bank, card or wallet details you register for withdrawals. Details entered incorrectly can result in payments returning to us after days of bank processing, or in the worst case reaching an account that is not yours. Check each field twice, especially account numbers and BSB codes, and keep your details current in your profile rather than relying on memory.

9. Cancelling or changing a request

You can cancel or amend a withdrawal request while its status is still pending, directly from the transaction list in your profile. Once a payment has been released to the provider it cannot be recalled by us, and corrections have to be resolved with the receiving institution. If you realise a mistake after release, contact [email protected] immediately; speed matters in exactly these cases.

10. Support

Questions about a withdrawal in progress, a hold or a verification request go to [email protected], handled by the Client Support & Compliance team (Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm AEST). Include the transaction reference from your profile so the team can locate the payment trail without a round of clarification emails. If you believe a withdrawal was handled incorrectly, the Complaints procedure applies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as methods, limits or applicable requirements change. The current version is published on this page and takes effect when published; material changes affecting existing accounts are notified in advance by email or in-platform message. The timing and method tables on the Deposit & withdrawal methods page are kept consistent with this policy, so the two should never disagree.
